Adult Bible Studies – Have not been Updated for COVID

Sunday 9 AM Bible Study:

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9am in the Kings 2 room (just off Fellowship Hall).  We are currently studying the book of Genesis.  We utilize an informal small group format that focuses on the scripture itself through short readings of the entire text followed by questions for group discussion.  Genesis is a fascinating book with distinct phases so it is easy to join at any time.  All are welcome!  The Study is led by Dave Preusch.  This time slot allows you to attend either the 8am worship prior to coming to our study or simply stay for the Traditional service at 10am.

Sunday 10 AM Bible Study:

We meet on Sunday mornings at 10am in the Lounge. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want a Sunday morning study but attend either the 8am Communion or 9am Contemporary worship services. The study is led by Judy Doyle and Caryn Hammond. Please bring your bible, a pen, and paper for note taking. We look forward to studying and discussing God’s word together! All are welcome!

Word & Coffee:
Bible Study with the Pastor:

Pastor David has agreed to begin a new study of the Book of Acts! We will meet most Thursdays from 9:30-10:30am beginning May 14th. Since this is longer than a short study, our plan is to continue meet through the summer months (with breaks here and there for vacations, mission trips, and annual conference). Each week we will open in prayer, read the passage, and discuss what we have learned/questioned during our reading and reflection. There is no need to sign-up; simply show-up ready to go!! Feel free to bring your coffee or tea with you. In preparation for the first class, I invite you to read the whole book (yes – the whole book) in one sitting! That will help give you perspective as we discuss the background of the book and outline!
